During our difficult time of loss, Monroe Mortuary Services’ management and staff handled our funeral services with great compassion and care. From start to finish, the staff was personable, caring, friendly, and professional. Frederick Allen and Deborah J. Brice met us at our home to discuss the most challenging but necessary details. Frederick stayed in constant contact with us regarding every detail, no matter how big or small. Deborah made an additional trip to our home to pick up necessary items. Monroe Mortuary provided proper respect to our living family and deceased loved one. They exuded excellent attention to detail.
The driver, Frederick Autry played appropriate music and set comfortable temperatures during our ride in the family car. The owner, Tony was just as personable as his staff when meeting him. I cannot thank Monroe Mortuary enough for taking such great care and making a difficult time easier than my family could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend Monroe Mortuary Services to any family in need, as they have handled three of our loved ones.

Monroe Mortuary Services were very caring and made sure everything was the way we wanted with all of the custom things of the obituary program, portraits, etc. Nothing is cookie cutter about them. They made everything for us during this time comfortable. They are a great group to work with and they treat you as family. Thanks to Tony, Frederick, Deborah and the entire staff. God bless your business.
Where do I begin, I'm back burying yet another grandparent and the service once again is beyond excellent. I also want to thank Mrs. Deborah Brice, she knows her stuff!!! I'm just going to be a regular with this funeral home, because I trust them in every way. May God continue to bless your business.
Thank you so much for going above and beyond in taking care of our family while dealing with several losses including our dear mother. Thank you for your professionalism and prayers! We appreciate you! May God Bless your business!
Through a difficult time of loss, the management and administrative staff at Monroe Mortuary Services were sincere and professional. We are forever grateful.
Where do I begin, I met Tony and I fell in love with him, he's very professional and keeps his word. I had the honor of planning my beloved grandmother's home going back in August of 2016 and had no idea as to what I was doing, but Tony and Mrs Foster made the process so easy on me, I can never thank them enough for their kindness, respect and encouraging words during and after my grandmother's home going service. I highly recommend this business to ANYONE that's looking for during and after care from such loving people, I can't dare leave out Fredrick Allen and Mr. Darrell, they are awesome as well, thank you for EVERYTHING and may God continue to bless you and keep you in business for a very long time!!!
Excellent experience with friendly, professional staff. They were a blessing to my family and I during the loss of my mother. She looked so peaceful. They did over our expectations.
I can not thank the staff of Monroe Mortuary enough for all that they did to make the most difficult of my life easy. Thank you so much. I will be forever grateful.
Mrs. Foster is the kindest person that I've ever met! She made us feel very comfortable with the arrangements of our loved one. Her and the staff took care of all the details in the planning. We are happy far beyond measure. I highly recommend their funeral home to a family in need of a service. They will handle everything with great compassion and care. Most important they will give proper respect to your love ones. And lastly, the obituary program design was second to none. Monroe Mortuary Services, a very creative team that's far ahead of the others in the Union County area with the professional services that they offer. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the professional , compassionate services you provided for my sister and her children. The patience and willingness to allow their wishes to be followed was wonderful.
Having been given the opportunity to meet Tony Autry and Frederick Allen and taking the time to hear their passion, I believe they have heart for Funeral Service and are on the brink of becoming the service of choice in the area. They're invested into the community and genuinely desire to serve. Both of them have a servant heart. Before deciding on your choice of Funeral Home, give Monroe Mortuary the opportunity to share with you.
